London: Pakistan’ Envoy Dr. Faisal lauds KCEU’s Chair Ali Raza Syed’s effort for Kashmir

Dr. Muhammad Faisal, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK, has praised Ali Raza Syed, the Chairman of the Kashmir Council of the EU, for his contributions to the European cause of Kashmir. Ali Raza Syed, the Chairman of the Kashmir Council EU, met with the Pakistani High Commissioner in London yesterday. During their meeting, they talked about the continuous efforts to draw attention to the Kashmir issue, especially the Kashmir issue in Europe. High Commissioner Dr. Faisal praised the Chairman of the Kashmir Council of the European Union for his efforts to draw attention to the Kashmir conflict and to speak up for the human rights of those living in Occupied Kashmir in Europe. He wished Ali Raza Syed well and congratulated him on earning the Human Rights Award from the Human Rights Council of Pakistan.The Pakistani High Commissioner expressed hope that the coming of the newly elected government in Pakistan after the elections of February will help in effective efforts to highlight the Kashmir issue at the international level.
Chairman Kashmir Council EU Ali Raza Syed said that the problems of the people of Occupied Kashmir are increasing day by day and Indian occupation forces are continuously committing crimes against the oppressed Kashmiris to maintain its illegal occupation of Kashmir.
He said that the recent report of Human Rights Watch, an international human rights organization, has confirmed the extrajudicial killings and severe violations of fundamental rights of Kashmiris by the Indian authorities in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Ali Raza Syed further said that until India stops human rights abuses, and the Kashmir issue is resolved as per the wishes of Kashmiris, we will continue to raise our voices in favor of Kashmiris in Europe.
He said that it is the duty of the international community to play an effective role in preventing human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir and for a peaceful solution to the Kashmir issue.
