Lahore: 5 suspects involved in the murder attack on Pakistani showbiz industry former actress and model Zainab Jameel were arrested.
According to the details, SP Cantt was given a special task by DIG Operations Lahore to arrest the accused of Zainab Jameel attack.
On the instructions of SP Cant Owais Shafiq, a team was formed to arrest the accused, SHO South Cantt Imran Khan, SHO Defense B Dawood Ahmed along with the police team arrested the accused with the help of modern technology.
The police has arrested 5 suspects involved in the murderous attack on Zainab Jameel, according to the police spokesperson, the accused include Ziaur Rehman, Javed Iqbal, Adil, Tayyab and Raza.
In this regard, SP Cant Owais Shafiq said that during the investigation footages of hundreds of cameras were checked, the accused named Zia provided the shooters with a motorcycle and weapons.
SP Kent said that Zia brought the shooters to the spot and took them back after the firing. The shooters came from Karachi to Lahore by plane and returned by road.
Owais Shafiq said that the shooters who fired directly at Zainab Jameel belong to Karachi, the team has left for Karachi to arrest the two shooters.
He said that the accused Zia has a transaction of 55 lakhs with Zeinab Jameel’s husband Sardar Jameel while Sardar Jameel is on bail till June 30.
SP Kent said that in the year 2017, Zainab Jameel was married to Sardar Jameel, this was the second marriage of Sardar Jameel, he had objection to Zainab working in show business.

Owais Shafiq further said that those who take the law into their hands will be dealt with iron hands and those who torture and harass women will be brought to justice.
It should be noted that Zainab Jameel was assassinated outside her salon in Defense area of Lahore last month. But they escaped by shooting.
Zainab Jameel was shot 6 times in this murder attack, later she issued a statement from the hospital during treatment in which she blamed her husband Sardar Jameel for the murder.
